A path that began in the family business

I started my career in 2008 as a managing partner at Genç Sigorta ve Reasürans Brokerliği, a family brokerage with 35 years of history. I learned both personal and commercial insurance hands-on, in the field: what a client truly needs, what matters at the moment of a claim, and how trust is earned and lost. Those years taught me that the job isn't selling policies; it's matching the right risk with the right product and the right assurance.

Between 2011 and 2016 I built and ran a 100-seat call center, designing the entire operation across home, motor, health and financial insurance products, from sales to claims handling and collections. From 2012 to 2018 we launched a project that combined field sales teams in pension and life insurance with call-center capabilities. In the same period we designed products for specialized risks and arranged the reinsurance capacity to back them. This experience later laid the foundation for tamamlayicisaglik.com.

Bringing insurance into the digital world

In 2014 I founded tamamlayicisaglik.com and grew it into one of Turkey's pioneering online platforms for complementary health insurance, private cover that tops up the public health system. We brought comparison, online sales and policy management together into a single, user-friendly experience. My goal was the same from day one: to make insurance understandable, accessible and trustworthy in people's eyes.

Turning technology into product

In 2022 I founded Gensure Tech, where we build insurance-specific CRM, API integrations, AI and embedded-insurance solutions, turning data and technology into customer-focused products. Since the same year I have served on the board of the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers (SBD) and chair its Digital Insurance & Distance Sales Committee.
